Hello, Nico, I'm went out and bought my first Z a few weeks ago. It was wasting away and thought it didn't deserve it. So I towed it to my shop. I'm one of 3 owners of a shop in FWB, FL. It's a 1990 300zx NA 5 speed. Tear down has begun on the vehicle. I have found under the battery there is a good size hole which is going need repair. But other than that it's not that bad in my opinion. I recently moved to FL from WV. So in my opinion it's not rusty. The plans for the rebuild is to swap in a vh45de, clean and partial shave the bay, lower and wheel. The part I'm unsure about is I'm going to put fender flares on it and I'm doing some measure and may go twin turbo. Well I will start a build thread in the next few weeks. If you would like keep a look out.

It keeps saying I'm not allowed to post url. So i hope you can view the pics

OOOOooo, pearlglow...nice!
Glad you have taken on the task of bringing her back, and IMO stick with the TT and not the VH45...you will be happier with the end results I think as the VH just really doesn't add anything but a racked-up hood and wrecked suspension making it fit. And PLEASE resist current trends and don't put bolt-on fender flares on it, she already has some pretty wide front fenders and rear widebody mods are a better look IMO if wanting to widen the car...which to me already is a "widebody" compared to most everything else when lowered down nicely and with a nice splitter and diffusor.
Good Luck!

As new 300zx owner, congrats. Reminds me of the runts banana yellow.
