I am 19 and live in south carolina, ever since i was a kid i have always wanted a 300zx. 4 months ago i started saving and searching for one and found one in atlanta for 3600. Pearl white, 5 speed, all stock it was exactly what i wanted!

Yea she was the fourth one we looked at. All the ones in my immediate area where either Falling apart , automatic, or way out of my price range, she was defiantly worth the 3 hour drive. Only problems are a small oil leak, squeaky breaks and a tear in the driver side seat other than that she drives like a dream. I've considered mods but i'm not sure where to start or if i even want to lol  .

She was very well taken care of by a woman in florida, When she moved to atlanta she sold her. The gentle man who bought her had her for less than a month and then needed to sell her quick. I am essentially the second owner!

Congratz, looks to be in really good shape
I agree with the maintenance suggestion. I once bought a 1 owner car from a nice old lady... come to find out the nice old lady didn't know what an oil change was. To make a long story short, the engine block cracked and they found an inch of sludge in the oil pan. I had records of the oil changes I did, so the engine was replaced for free.

Since your car has 176K miles, the nice old lady who owned your car took care of her.
Nice find, as others have said.... they are very hard to find in good shape and without rebuilt or salvage titles.

We went ahead and started on the timing belt, as we were getting deeper into the car's engine we found that 2 of the pulleys were falling apart, as well as the timing tenshioner was bad.

Pretty clean looking Z you got there. Got big plans for her, or keep it stock?

Keeping her stock as possible, get her technically sound and then worry about cosmetic problems. I may add some things but im not to worried about all that just yet.

sweet deal man! I just picked up my '91 NA 300ZX 2 seater in December. it's my second car, and she was VERY well maintained by an awesome enthusiast. i'm carrying this car on with 65,125 miles on it, original black paint still glossy. it's a great car to own and one of the Japanese classics of the 90's.

do you plan on keeping it original or do you have a lot of performance mods in mind?

The longer opening is closer to the front on the top side of the wheel, whereas it should be closer to the rear.

These wheels were actually designed to draw a bit of air in to help cool the brakes, which is why they have such a unique shape.

It's only your fronts that are backwards, so swapping left to right will fix it.
