Hey guys,Im new to this forum.Just picked up my first convertible 240.Its a 1993 se model,Its red.The previous owner installed a cold air intake and a cat back 2.5 in exhaust. There is only one spot that has rust and thats up top between the windshield and the sun visors. Its runs about 3 to 4 inches long but its only surface rust.BUT WAIT THE BEST PART...He also had a 5 speed swap lined up so I took that off his hands as well.I just need to find someone to do the install.I live in northern new jersey and dont know who to see.Anyone have any advice on good shops or know how much a reasonable price to do the swap is ? Im about to clean this thing from top to bottom.

it's not all that complicated to do yourself, if you have basic mechanical knowledge, and can read and comprehend a tutorial, there's several on this site. i did mine myself. the hardest part is getting to the bolts up on top of the transmission, and removing the auto pilot bushing. everything else is pretty basic, and hard to screw up. just pay attention to the wiring tweaks you have to do to get it to start, and make sure you bleed the hell out of your clutch line. i had to re-bleed mine after i was driving and the pedal mysteriously just went to the floor. that was er.. "interesting :)
