Hello, here are few pics of my first 240 vert. It's my 8th overall but never had a vert so I figured I'd give it a shot. It's nothing special as of now, just stock with a 5 speed swap, had some cut springs on it, replacing those here next week with some Ksport GT Pro's. Bought the car itself for $600, got the motor and 5 speed swap for a deal through a friend, putting piece by piece together as I go. being in AZ any car that sits for a considerable amount of time gets the heat treatment from the sun IE cracked dash and warped door panels and this one is no different. Not too sure what I'll do about those yet but we'll have to see. The top doesn't work as of now...some more searching on here should help me take care of that. Any how on to my crappy cell phone pics....

No doubt good save, this guy I bought it from was well on his way to ricer territory, already painted the gauge cluster bezel red as well as various other interior pieces and was "going to a RHD conversion and RB swap"

Thank you for saving it and not letting the rice factor go any further.

That's pretty common. Maybe not in AZ... but overall, pretty common.

You can swap any S13 tank in it's place if you'd like.

Or get a fuel cell...

I'm on there ever so often, mostly to find parts needed. When are you installing the SR? Is your vert already changed to 5 speed?

Yeah I've dealt with it quite a few times up in Oregon, I really didn't expect it being out in AZ but what can ya do. Most of the rust came up with some degreaser and the pressure washer but I know theres going to be a bit more. I had an extra pump so I'll probably just run it for the time being after I coat the inside of the tank and hopefully it'll last me through the weekend til I can get a new tank to throw in it.

The only good thing that came of last night is that i got the top to work. Now I don't have to sell the car...sweet!

Sweet...I got my top going the other day. I'm just going through electrical issues that the chassis had now. Still worth it for 600$ but it's giving me one hell of a headache. Thing after thing after thing. Out of 8 this one is by far the biggest pain in the *** of them all.

After many hours of fixing shoddy chassis wiring and a bunk alarm install, it's finally on the road. I remved easily 8-10lbs worth or unnecessary wiring from the car. Couldn't believe it. Now I just need to get rid of the seat belt post on the doors and I'll be set for a little while.
