i got HID's because i was always using high beam to see after i lowered my car. Also even with high beam on, i still couldnt see that well at night. and i dont have bad eyes. i got new housing from a local car shop for $14 bucks, and HID's from a a performance shop where i live for $80 picked up. so i'll probably buy another pair of hids for my girlfriends accord if i can get that same price.

Your beam spread looks like crap. You're the reason why certain dildo law-makers want to ban HID lighting.

Do yourself a favor and retrofit a projector unit into the housing or please take the HID kit out. Those of us who have done the hard work for the right beam cutoff don't appreciate this hack job crap.

i went online and bought those black mirror casing projectors, they arnt nearly as brght, to cops and other cars they dont realy bother them, so i never get pulled over, but i can see just as well as the normal stock bulbs.prob was, i had to get some fishtank sealer and i resealed the casing so it would be water proof.i have 8000 btw

Hey you guys that actually have a cut off like your supposed to, where'd you get your set ups? My mom has an 04' acura tsx wit hids from factory and i love her hids and the cut off like that, its so easy to see until a hill goes passed the cut offs, and can you still have high beams wit those.

It's harder to do on the S13 with the pop-up lights. But to acheive proper lighting a lot of people just retrofit. That is to say, taking lights from cars like a TSX, or an Q4 or something and modifying the 240SX housing to accomodate the projectors from those cars.

Oh thanks, is there anything else that has to be done? Like electrical wise? Cuz for some odd reason i always thought hids needed some sort of module or converter or something of the likes. Or maybe i'm just way wrong o, or is that what this h4 conversion is?

do these lights focus the light any better than the regular housings? like would it look better?

I recommend the autopal h4 conversion on eBay. Bout $25-30 shipped. It has a better cut off than the eBay fake projector light like u have. Also the autopal spread the light more wider.
