Well I've never done a swap before but with a help of a friend i managed to knock everything in in a month (we worked on the car only on friday due to school and work). I got the motor from Venus Auto for 2200 (front clip). The motor has 34,000km on the odometer. I handpicked the clip out myself. The owner was nice enough to replace a few broken parts that i broke during my swap (it was my fault). Anyway here are the pictures. Im the guy in the whiteshirt inside the engine bay.

Well before the swap i know the car is gonna be torquey since i drove my friend's sr20det s13 before that (i wanted a s13 after driving his car). I have an Audi A4 1.8t as my daily driver and that thing is slow as hell. So i wanted something fast when im the mood for some pedal to the metal and the S13 is what i wanted. Anyway i had a turbo integra GSR before that and im not dissing on honda but RWD is more fun to drive and sr20det is so much more reliable than my fully built B18c1 with je pistons, golden eagle sleeves, eagle rods, etc...

I am getting my front clip from Venus too since it is only 45 minutes away. I may ask you a few question when I do my swap.

LOL, right now I have a piece of duct tape on my overflow take in the same place! I bought one from the junkyard but it is so nasty, the duct taped one remains.

Im just blown away from the condition of the clip. I've seen some less-than satisfactory stuff from Venus before, but that on is just imacculet.

I got my clip from venus as well. Ronald (the owwner) is a pretty good guy, just ****ing crazy. Drived that forklift like he's in a D1 competition. Anyway, my clip was very clean (blacktop) but I didn't know the mileage on it. Ronald replaced lots of parts for me like my CAS, harness and ECU no questions asked and for free. I'd recommend them.

i just saved your completed pic on my comp... and i have tons of 240 pics. this is really nice.

i dont know why but i think the stock smic setup looks better than fmic setup. just looks nice, black and clean.

just gotta do something about that throttle cable

all i've known of venus is very good service. one of my friends got a clip there, few things were broken, they sent him new ones. the clip is immaculate (just like above). i give them 5 stars for customer service. you might have some bad parts on arrival but they'll definitely send you new ones if they need to.
