Well If you all know or not I recently got a 1991 Q45 to play with. So far I agree with everyone in thinking these cars are the hardest to work on. I have the mental scars and physical scratches. But after cooling off and sleeping i feel better. During all this I never drank a beer or took an aspirin.
Just me and My 211 Piece Costco Tool kit.
here is the car Before:
What a beauty (If only the previous owners took car of her)
And after: Red stuff is my blood and I was bending back the metal covering the wiper motor.
That's the beautiful mismatched interior Black dash Brown and tan door panels and White seats.
That's the nearly empty door panel, I removed nearly everything except the locking mechanism.
The Back seat.
Whats left of the engine compartment I only missed the TCS Actuator, and maybe some A/C stuff and the wonderfully rusted horn.
The rear of the car yea the Junk yard owner smashed on of the lights I wanted. DAMN.
Side view of what left of the car.
Passengers side view of interior. O an 666-G50 I doubt that you would want those sun roof switches.
Has anyone just one person stripped a car to this extent?
Just one man, 3 Days (9AM-5PM), For 3 days straight. Not the best way to spend the week off, But....
It takes a lot of Nissan Master Technicians to put a Q45 together, But it takes someone who really likes Q45's to take on apart.
