this is my first project, its not that big or anything but i did it myself
i wish i took some before and after pictures but i was in a rush to get this complete
this was not a hard project at all... i put instructions even though i know everyone pretty much knows how to do this
i'm sure i'm not the first person to do this, but i like to think of myself as the first one on the forums to do this
let me know what you guys think and please be honest!

1. Sand
2. Prime 4 times, 1 min between each coat, let dry for 1 hour
3. Paint 3 times, 1 min between each coat, 1 hour then 1 more coat, let dry for an hour
4. Laid down the lettering individually
5. Clear coat, 5 times, one min in between each
6. Let dry for about 4 - 6 hours and you're good

In between coats, i was playing mario galaxy on the wii, then it hit me (like a windows 7 idea)
what if someone put white spots on top of their versa, then it would like a mario mushroom!
I named this "versa - fied" because of the emblem colors, i changed the silver into black and black into silver
As for the letters i ordered them from custombrakelights.com
my next project will be tinting my tails
anyways, again, please let me know what you guys think

Not to be a downer or anything.... but couldn't you have saved all your effort of primers and paint coats and all that and just find a black emblem to buy somewhere? It just seems like you did a lot to get a little.

i had no idea i could buy a black emblem somewhere, its not a big deal though now that its done
where can i buy one at? would it be the same size? i bought a emblem off courtesy nissan i think
and i started to paint that one so i wouldn't have my original emblem intact, after letting it dry i realized
that it was slightly smaller than the original

I did the same to my sedan and I tried ebay and Nissan directly before painting mine but they dont make them black so I painted my own. I have a spare factory emblem just in case I screw up though.
