I'm real green when is comes to any mechanics for my car.

I have a 1998 Q45 - just broke 100K miles - and I friggn love this car.

I think it needs a little tlc but DO NOT want to pay dealership prices for parts.

Any website recommendations?

THANKS!

OEM parts at discount prices

If you're not willing to put OEM parts on this car, you're better off selling it at the 100k you just hit, or else suffer the next 100k of reservicing the same parts. There's a reason this car cost so much when new - they are built with heavy duty parts, and they need to be replaced with heavy duty parts.

Wait - Barnstable, MA?

Rick?

How many times have I told you you have to GO OEM OR GO HOME!!!!

Don't forget to check the classifieds section. Sometimes you can get real lucky. If you're not sure about something, you can always double check in here.

Done.

Some things can be aftermarket, but VERY FEW. Perhaps non-OEM interior cleaning products, water you wash the car with, brushes to clean the wheels - everything else comes from Infiniti.

If you don't want to pay full stealership charges go with everythinginfiniti, it is actually Infiniti of Scotsdale and they sell their parts in Scotsdale at full price, but mail order the undercut big time, i have bought mats, brake pads, filters, etc from them at substantial discounts and they know their stuff.

The only thing you should think about is not doing OEM shocks and struts. There are no easy aftermarket options foryour Q but you can find KYB SR Specials as replacements for the OEM and they rock.

Yeah, I buy all wear and tear injectors, brake pads, filters from IOS. All other parts come from ebay and a very few come from NAPA (wiper blades, washer fluid, oil, lol).
