yes, the wheels are ghetto and will be changed soon, and a paint job as well. Ok, new plans, i have decided a black/brown layout for paint and interior(prob more black with hints of brown/bronze). I've seen enough white coupes, plus i like a good black paint job. I have lots of ideas and will be posting many pics :naughty: , this is the first nissan i have ever owned and would like it to be one hell of a ride. So let me know what you think, and enjoy the build!!

Welcome! She's not that bad, think of the wheels as character. What are your plans?

as far as motor goes- 150,000+ (and that was after a rebuild!) car has 250,000+ miles on the chassis/body/interior, so she's been rode hard and put up wet! but she's in good hands now, im so exicted!! a rebuild is coming in the near future, and was curious if a stroker kit is worth it? im all ears! turbo? (done on every other 240 i've seen) or just freshen up the motor, intake and exhaust and call it good? progress will be posted, thanks for the addvice!!

Very nice 240. Don't worry, my 240 came with 5 star hubcaps/steelies back when I bought it. It has come a long way.

Woohooo! Welcome!

Just don't say your going to put a tri-turbo porsche 911 motor in it and you will be on a far better road than majority of people. Take the time to do things right, set it and forget it.

Let me know if you need someone to turn some wrenches :mike :wavey: :woot: :dblthumb: :bigthumb: :bowrofl:

Your doing that wrong. you gotta get the paint off for the bondo to set, and you should hammer it out so its as thin as possible. Moisture can build up between the paint and filler.

Well, sorry i haven't posted for a while, it's been kinda a slow going project since its my daily driver, but here is the surprise :naughty:

Yeah! out with the ghetto wheels, in with some Konig Rewinds  , but she needs to be lowered, badly, so saving my pennies and some coilovers are probably the next step, but for now, gonna keep on with the bodywork :tisk:

This might be more helpful then what you sent me:
http://customwheelsmarket.com/rimwheelwidth1.html

Looks like your looking at a 205 or 215 since its a 7.0inch rim. I bet you could stretch a 225 or 235 on there, but it all depends on the look your going for. I think 215/45R/15 or 215/40R/15 will be good. Depends on how slammed you go. I would go with 45R's since your gunna DD it.

Got off work early, and decided to do something productive  , crawled under the 240 and found the usual grime of a 20 year old car. So i tackled that for about five minutes and gave up :tisk: , figure it will all show up in another year anyway. So i moved on to remove the clutch bypass block? if thats what its called, either way it wasn't hooked up when i got the car, so i removed that for weight reduction :rotfl , and some pics of the car with the 195/60/15 tires.

Hey guys, sorry it's been awhile, but recent activity hasn't been much. Installed a B&M V.5 short shifter, and i gotta say it's like driving a new car! :naughty: Holy crap, one of the best things i've done to it so far. I won't be showing any picks of the shifter, it looks like a short shifter... anyways gonna get serious about finishing some body work and hopefully getting it ready for paint soon. So pics of that in the near future. Also, i am planning on purchasing some coilovers soon, possibly some stances'? i hear they're pretty good. Happy building! :dblthumb:
