I just ordered the JWT Popcharger and z tube from EverythingG35.com and look foward to installing it. The only thing is i've never done anything to a car before. From the looks of it, it seems like a pretty standard and easy mod. I was just wondering if any of you had trouble installing it and what I will need to do so.

6.5 hp for under $200 is a great deal, plus the sound is sweet.

The Stillen CAI and Z-tube combo gives 11-13 HP and costs $50 more.

i didn't have any problem installing it and i'm in the IT field. it wouldn't hurt to invite a friend over that knows a little more than you do, though, to supervise. i did. it could save you an hour or 2.

HEY! where in Dallas r u?

Know what Ive learned from this guy... not to start and **** but this guy never says anything nice... everytime i see him post something its always putting something down. this intake, guys new rims, not wanting to pay for a 30k, cheap exhaust.... after mentioning this did you drive a civic?

But to stay on topic, Congrats on the first mod, and the install should be simple + EverythingG35 sends you directions so good luck and let us know what you think

I'm thinking about getting the Pop Charger too, since I hear so many good things about it here. (Already have the z-tube on both G's.)Maybe a spacer too....eventually. Right now, one of my G's needs new shoes....Goodyear RS-A sux. Yokos are next!!

nice mod!

It's a great mod..you guys will have no regrets. The hardest part is putting the rubber on the heatshield. Trust me, if I can put one on my car anyone can. I have a hard time putting frick'n socks on in the morning

i'm in Colleyville. it's by DFW airport. looks like we've got the same car, too. if the pop charger and z-tube kit is anything like the stillen CAI you'll LOVE IT!!!! your next one should be the plenum spacer. we'll have to meet up on 635 some time and raise a little hell!!!!

i just realized something. the pop charger will give 6.5 hp to the coupes and the sedan. but, the stillen CAI will add 11-13 for the sedan. most of the posters here have a coupe. you might want to hold your order and research this a little more. check out my post new post. for more info.

I don't want to change your mind on the shoes you get but I have seen Federal's ss595's? ($160.00)

http://www.frsport.com/images/...5.jpg

They don't come in a lot of sizes but they do have them in 19x275x30 and 19x245x30 or 35. There is a topic on NICO zerothread?id=213561 That has a lot of questions answered.

I am getting some for the back on Monday and I will let you know how they feel.

Thanks for the info!! I'll read thru the thread more tomorrow.Looks like the tire is more for dry conditions.I'm looking more for an all weather tire for my G.

I've got Potenza RE-750's on my cobra and had RE-730's on my other cobra. They are/were great. Hookup well and are good in the rain. But, going for something less aggressive on the G.
