So I FINALLY got someone to race me. (I've been driving the car for 3 weeks and couldn't get anyone to run me, grrr) It was an '02 Honda Prelude 5 speed (I think? I know it was a manual) and an AEM Short Ram. Other than that it was stock. I was pretty proud of myself and my car. I got him by atleast half a car length, but I think it was a full car length. There was a car infront of us, so I wasn't paying close attention to exactly where he was. Anyway, I'm excited and I thought I'd share my kill.

BTW- Me vs. RSX Type S? Who'd win?

Haha nice kill.

My first kill was the night I got my CA started. An IS300 tried me and I guess he didnt hear the turbo thru the open downpipe ;)

You should be able to spank an RSX with 1.8 liters of turbo charged goodness.

my buddy's JDM 2001 DC5 Integra Type R would put a spanking on you though, that thing does very low 14's stock... i am sure on a track with some slicks and a good launch it will break intto the 13's.

i got whupped by and old guy in a crx the other day. all i could see whas that it had an exhaust, but it wasnt the usual buzzy noise, it sounded like it might have had a dohc engine. anyway, i revved, he revved back, i laughed, was planning on driving normally, then right as the light was about to change, he revved it and held it at about 3.5k and drag launched the hell out of it. spun them through 1st and chirped 2nd. i had him in 3rd, but he pulled off right as i was about to show him what torque and rwd is all about.

preludes were done in '01, so it may have been a 2001 prelude or before. I'm assuming you meant 5th gen prelude.

Yea, my bad it was an '01. I was excited last night when I wrote it and wasn't thinking.

Trigger - the middle wire for the O2 is the sensor wire, and the outside wires are for the heater. I don't know if it's polarity sensitive, but it shouldn't be. My 02 sensor was black-white-black. Lemme know if that helps.

Depends. Stock vs. stock, you'd win. Type S w/ mods (I/H/E/hondata) vs your car w/o the mods that aren't installed yet, unfortunately I'd have to give it to the RSX unless you're running mid to low 14's :( Modded rsx-s's are no joke...seriously.

The guy that wouldn't race me w/the RSX seemed kinda like a ricer. He had 20" chromed wheels and a bigaywing. He said that he had done everything to convert it to a type R though? I guess the type R's have different headers, exhaust, ect? Don't know a whole lot about that kinda thing with them, but I think I woulda had him.

How does the 240sx do against the MX3 Precedia V6 and V4? Don't they have way less horsepower?

Mazdas, RSXs, preludes, supras, corvettes, civics, S2000s, WRXs, evolutions, got a little nasty 1809cc power plant for them. One that's guaranteed to get off in that dooky-shoot, quickly;) .
