I just got a 2003 M45. I am very pleased with the car even though it looks like people broke into the interior and stole parts out of it. No sun visor, glovebox, ect.. and the fact that most of the idiot lights are on in the gauge cluster.

The radio was removed and after it was pulled the car was dead the next day. Got jump started and drove, started up and drove to taco bell later and got me home. This morning, dead again.

There is no service manual or owners manual with the car. Does anyone have a pic of the fuses? I found a thread that did for the 06's but haven't found anything for the 03. The car is in embarrassing condition right now, after I paint and fix a few things i'll post some pics.

Do I need to pull a fuse/fuses to get it to stop dying? I don't need music or AC controls or anything. I just need to damn thing to start every morning.

Can anybody help me out please? I unfortunately am already regretting this purchase.

As a general rule, expensive high tech luxury cars are NOT fixer uppers.Electronic troubles you describe requires someone with some sophistication.

A vandalized car is seldom a god purchase. I would be scouring junk yards for other Y34 from which you can replace whole systems in total.

Fortunately, all dashboards were black.

It's not a fixer upper. It just had a few issues.

My MAIN issue right now is that the car is DEAD in the garage and has been for 2 days.

SOMETHING is draining the battery.

Will pulling the fuse for the radio stop the drain? What else could it be?

First of all, it seems you got the wrong car - sorry to say that. If you want luxury, apparently, this one does not have it at all in this condition. If you are looking reliability, it is definitely the wrong car. If you want power, get a nice Camero.

Having said that, here is a suggestion: Disconnect the battery immediately after you done with driving until you figure out what is draining the battery. Also, buy a portable battery booster from Wal-mart and carry it in the trunk, that will for sure relieve the issue.

Also, since the battery has been drained a couple of times, it might not be able to hold charge.

The other thought is: Are you sure the alternator and the charging system is working - since you mentioned that there are several warning lights on the dash. Was one of them for the battery charging?

Turns out it was the amp/radio/dome lights. I am already regretting trading my GS for this car. That may end up being fine because the guy I traded with (for the M45) is finding things wrong with the GS that are impossible and trying to get me to pay for them. So now it appears I may be getting the GS back and losing the M45 in a few days. All I can safely say is never, ever, ever trade cars with someone when not going through a 3rd party like a dealership. This has the potential for disaster written all over it.

So it was not obvious that you were buying someone else's headache?

Trade back.

That M sounds like it was raped. At least you know what you're dealing with on the GS. Hope you get it back with all of the stuff it has last time you saw it....
