NOTE - ok, so i decided to go ahead and write one of these to be of any assistance i could for any other idiot/inexperienced nico members out there. i used to crawl under the car and wedge myself up between the front bumper, splash guards, and tires to get to these little "pains in the ***" but jltibbs showed me otherwise and i thought id show the rest of you who migt not be aware of this.

DISCLAIMER - dont give me crap if you mess up your car, these are just steps on how i did this, if you mess up your car - its YOUR fault!

1st - start off by removing the plastic shield on the side of the light. depending on which side your doing, its towards the center of the car.

2nd - unbolt the two 10mm screws on the top and bottom and slide the housing out fowards

3rd - unclip the wires/fuse from each other

ok, now then take a look at what you have. you should have 1 housing, 1 bulb w/tail, 2 10mm screws, a plastic shield, and a plastic clip. if your replacing a broken/cracked light then you'll probably have to put your things together. i left mine intack to give you an idea.

4th - unscrew the black water-seal and unhinge the rear swing-door.

5th - plug in your bulb of choice and align it within the housing. now, close and secure the swing-door then replace the black water-seal you just removed.

6th - take a look at your housing and make sure you get the nipple into the plastic hole, then fasten the 2 10mm screws back into place.

7th - re-install your plastic side shield

8th - snap your pastic clip back into the shield to hold it in place

Finally - drink a pepsi and enjoy your quick "do-it-yourself" project and your new housing/bulbs!!

Nice job Ben! Added to the FAQ list.

Although.....I wouldn't mind some pics of you wedged between the bumper and spash guards.
