I figured I might as well post it up...

It definitely is a project for me. Wiring is all ganked up, so I'm pulling the harness sometime next week to start all over. No a/c, no power steering

Kick panels and glove box are in the trunk. Those will go back on once I get the wiring squared away. Even after the wiring is squared away, I need to pick up some rotors and I'll get stainless steel lines at the same time. Have some brake pads in the trunk, so those will get replaced too. After a while, I'll pull the engine and rebuild it with a bunch of new stuff. Has a walbro 255, just needs the adj fpr installed. Has a boost gauge in the trunk.

My plans for the time being are to get it to my house lol. Once in the garage, all the sound deadening from the trunk and rear seat area is coming out.

Flame away.

lol. I'd like the car to run before I start painting it and buying rims

And I think I'll just turn this into my build thread. Soon as I get it here, the car is going up on jack stands and I'm going to work.

I understand that. But I paid $800 for it, so I'm really not complaining.

aww you can't hate on the KA. KA-T is a monster.

but I think I will be going RB25 after a while. But that's way off down the road, so no need to think about it now lol

And as far as a little update, the car will be at my house by next Sunday. Just have to clean out the garage and make some room

Good buy. Go to Pep Boys because they sell some universal carpet in black. you just have to cut it to the shape of you car. my friend used one piece on the drivers side and one on the passanger side and connected at the tunnel behind the center consol. You can also use it to cover up where the back seats were. Then just get a paint job and it will look great. I like the CA.

Oh cool, thanks for the tip. I'll definitely have to do that when it runs haha

AHHH conflicting opinions! haha

I'm not too concerned about the carpet. If I really want, I can just dye it.

And yeah, I thought so too, so I snagged it right up. No rust that I can see, frame is straight, has front and rear sway bars, rear strut tower bar (eh), lowered on megan springs, aluminum sub frame bushings and probably a couple of other things I'm forgetting.

Right now I'm clearing out my garage. Making some decent progress on that. Car should be here Saturday. Bringin' her in on a roll back

He had it lying around, so he swapped it in there. They're not bad little motors, but it's certainly not my first choice.

I'm going to have to try to salvage the harness and do it all up right to get it running.

Oh and to be completely legal...it needs an exhaust haha

im surprised all the hate on the ca, cuz thats what i thought when i first saw it too...didnt think it was toooo big of a deal but it definatly looks out of place. def no upgrade from a ka imo. needs a lot of work, you should sell the ca to fund your project. looks like a fun project tho, and nice price overall. have fun.

It needs to be a running project lol. As much as I would love to sell the engine to fund it, I can't keep it at my house for too long as I'm about to move out, so I definitely need an engine.
