I bought a new 2010 Versa S automatic hatchback yesterday, to replace my Honda Civic that was stolen (grrrr). I optioned for the power package (w/ power windows/doors/locks/keyless entry, cruise control & stereo), splash guards, mats, & VDC/traction control. I paid $13,799 before taxes etc. The 2010 Versas have an aux audio in port, so I can plug my ipod in, and ABS is now standard for the S models.I decided to get the undercoating, so I won't be able to pick it up until next week. I'm excited!

Car: Versa 1.8 Manual

Post

Congratulations! The 09 Versa S (manual, bare bones) is my first new with 0 miles car. My other car died not too long after I'd decided to buy a Versa forcing me to move early. I'm glad to hear ABS is now standard, I searched far and wide but couldn't find any nearby dealers that had a manual with ABS in stock at a reasonable price.

Good luck with it!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm from Minneapolis, MN. We're digging out from the Christmas snowstorm.

Do you guys think the spoiler really helps w/ aerodynamics? I chose not to get one, but I've seen pictures of them on here and they look great!

The spoiler should help with keeping the rear window a little cleaner. I don't know if you can say the gas mileage is better or worse without some testing. I think they look better with a spoiler though.

They certainly help out with the visual department, wouldnt say it's a bad thing. I would probably get it since it's made for the car.

If you plan on buying a spoiler / wing for aerodynamic purposes it's kind of pointless because they spoiler creates a downforce in the back pushing your tires into the pavement.. since Versa's are FWD it would only make sense for cosmetic purposes..

I think the spoilers & wings look good on the hatchback but not really on the sedan.
