We took a '00 Audi A6 2.7T in on trade yesterday. It only has 23k miles on it. I took it home last night just to check it out and it was sweet! It made me realize how much I miss having a turbo car. It also rained like hell here last night and that Quattro system just hooked up and ran. The car was an auto, but still fun to drive and very nice as well.

Proving once again that turbo+AWD=fun, especially in inclement weather. ;)

Ben, I will like the Q a lot better when I am able to get the steering issues worked out. I haven't had time to figure that out yet. It also needs a set of Tokicos REALLY bad. It's actually dangerous to drive right now because of that and the steering, so I don't drive it yet.

Checkered, it is a cashmere color, loaded, and felt great. Suspension is a little soft for my taste and I hate the wheels and tires, but that could all be cured. What I really like is the price. I could buy it for 21k. It books for 23k trade-in value. It would be a fun car to mod and it really needs a boost gauge. Perfect car for the winter.

Hehe, I smoked an Acura TL on the way to work today while sipping a hot cup of Starbucks. Turbos rule!

Hey checkered-Member, as an audi owner you should definately check out the ACNA (Audi Car Club of America). Nice group of enthusiasts. Quattro's rock.

The A6 turbo is a beautiful car... The Audi Quattro system is the best AWD system I've encountered. Runs smoother than the EVO and response is better too, maybe something to do with the carbon fiber driveshafts on Audi's. Can't wait to get my RS6!!
