during my lunch break i brought the car into my work's shop and took off the back wheels thinkin i could handle the task of tightening my ebrake... my rear back had a screw face on it but was not secured enough for me to tighten anything like the.... bracket was busted or something....so i went to the left side and it was a nut 10mm i think...anyways should i take it in? or am i retarded
Sounds like you are looking at the wrong thing. There is a rubber plug in the rotor, remove the plug and turn the rotor until the hole is at the bottom. Take a flashlight and look inside the hole and you should see the wheel cylinder. Adjust the wheel cylinder under there is resistance to turn the rotor and then back the wheel cyliner off about a 1/4-1/2 turn.

One thing the manual doesn't tell you is you can adjust the handle nut if you unsnap the boot and use a 1/4" drive and extension. You don't need to take anything apart.
