my first 300zx

well im here to let everyone know that i will have my first 300zx in a few weeks. first off it has been imported from japan and is in the process of being u.s. tittled. i dont know what to expect as far as best upgrades for best power gains. its a 94 2+2 twin turbo. does anyone know what the differences are between the usdm and jdm vg30? just trying to get some info about this car. thanks for all the information and everyones $0.02

dont the Z's go up to the year 97 or 98 out there? would be sweet if some1 got their hands on one of those. Anybody here got a 97 or up 300zx?

I was thinking 99? but they definitely got them for a year or 2 after they stopped shipping them to us

i thikn the z only went to 98 just like the rx7 and 180sx, but anyways does anyone know what the differrence in the motors if any? i plan on upgrading whats the best thing for power gains? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man I own a 96 2+2tt m/t.It was shipped from S.A in 99 whith 28kilo meters on the clock.There's many diffrences on this car as to my 91zx.This is the only one ive seen whith a 280kmh speedo and grey lether,but sadly ibusted the engine a few times.swapped to a vh45 and then the car burnt out.I am looking at it right now and there are tears in my eyes.

sorry to hear that about your car. stuff i was talking about as differences is like the impedience of the injectors. what usdm stuff can be used on this car. i had a jdm supra and their was a bunch of stuff that was different like the jdm 2j has a map sensor and the usdm one uses a maf. these are the types of differences im curious about

yeah it seems when u order to canada n e ways the vechle has to b 15 yrs or older or u cant order it so my 91 was the newsest one i could get so i wouldnt b able to get my hands on a 97 for 6 yrs hahah i could never wait thalt long

Dont know the differences in the usdm but the jdm has a 180kmh speed limmiter.Mine had nismo injectors and ecu,garret turbos,bigger i/c's,powerflow exaust from the dealer.But i think it was owned by the nissan dealer for 3 years and they performed these mods,but not sure.My car was then sold as new to the guy i bought it from,28kilo on clock.When ibought it the owner told me it was a limmted edition fatory mod 400hp model,allso the N.Z ownership papers states 96 but the recipts from nissan states 99.I dont know what the real story is but my car is vastly diffrent to other z's.
