My first 240!

I bought a 91 240 a couple weeks ago, and I just gotta say it's such a great car. I absolutely love this thing! It's only a base model, but I decided I didn't really need all the extras, and I'd rather not have the sunroof anyway. Got it for 2800 with a little under 125000 miles.

I did have one question though. There's a bit of rust under the spoiler. I want to take it off and replace it with an type x wing eventually, but I wasn't sure if it would be more cost effective to try to find a different hatch in a junkyard or just get a body shop to fix mine up.

you should consider a body kit for your car, since IMO, the stock look of 89-94 240 looks too boxy and old. It shouldn't be hard anyways, all you do is take off the spoiler, bring the body kit to the shop, and then have them painted. Remember to mension about the rust, they'll take car of it. If you don't have the money yet, use use bondo, and paint it, since it's under the spoiler anyways, no one would notice it. That way, you don't have to worry about the rust spreads dilema.
