My first 240

Well i bought an 89 coupe about a week ago.
119,000 miles on chassis, 88,000 on ka24de swap.
Champagne color, I'm the second owner :)

Bought the car with a totally shredded clutch, which has been replaced.
New clutch kit and flywheel already installed, taking it to a 240sx specialist to get the damn transmission back in. :got me lol

clutch looks pretty beat! hopefully it wasn't beat on
but looks like a good start! what are your plans for the car?

i plan to get coilovers, soilid subframe bushings, trunk floor brace, possibly fender braces, a new exhaust system (2.5in all the way) and some rota's… Know I'm missing a lot of what i want to do… But Basically suspension work and chassis stiffening.

Eventually i want to get a silvia conversion.

Don't forget a tension bracket brace! (Nismo Powerbrace/Jonnie Fraz Brace)
I'm very happy with mine.

Still couldn't put the transmission on huh?
Such a pain in the butt.

yep, in total we put in about 8 hours trying to put it in within 2 days.
Just couldn't get it to line up, so i called a really reputable guy in the DFW area named Tay who said he could do it for $100

And i will definitely get a power brace sometime down the line!

Well, ended up not taking the car to the shop to have the transmission put back in..Instead

Did it ourselves!!

Lol, we ended up disconnecting the exhaust from the down pipe, Giving the motor so much more tilt .(we had already loosened the motor mounts the last times we tried

Felt like a tard, thats all we had to do all along :facepalm: :poke: :bowrofl:

hahah a friend and I spent a good 4 hours trying to get my transmission back o on after a clutch swap. It finally just went on. Magic.

Hey has anybody ordered a cat back system from megan racing?
If i do, will i need to get a down pipe? Or does the system come with everything i need?
