You say you have a strait pipe.... will it be a track car only?

No it will be street legal, atleast here in MD. Any car 20+ years i can register as a 'historic' car. It does not qualify for any inspections or emissions testing. So when I am finished it will be 100% street legal.

i dont think emissions are what yur gonna have to worry about with the straight pipe, im sure itll be more of a sound issue.... unless MD dosent have any laws against how loud yur car is. In jersey where i live they'll throw you a ticket for sound without even hearing yur exhaust, just by how loud it looks lmfao

Yea they arent too strict with that either unless you are in the city where there is sound ordances. But most of the time it isn't an issue around here. There is a drag strip about about 15 mins from me and summit point raceway is only about 30 mins from here. There is a lot of race cars around so normally cops don't bother too much unless you are being a duesche about it.

Wow been too long since I have updated this. I ahve made some progress. I got the hood, roof and hatch all painted black. My final color will either be a Lambo Orange or a Sky Blue (havent decided yet). I was originally going to make my own wiring harness but a offer came up for a swap harness that I could not pass up! My motor is going to the machine shop this weekend to be cleaned and assembled to factory specs. Picked up a LS1 complete intake with injectors, fuel rails, and throttel body. My buddy has some 241 heads at his shop that he let go for a cheap price. I also finally found a T56! It is out of a 98 z28 fbody. Still trying to decide whether I want to be NA or just got all out Turbo build...

5.3L V8- $450
LS1 Valve Covers, Coilpacks- $100
Racing Cam- $275 (used)
Mail Order Tuned PCM- $75
