have been outstanding and far exceeded my expectations.

With the heavy rain falling in NJ today I'm pleased with my decision to replace my tires again yesterday even though they only had 52715 miles on them with 5/32 left.

The handling and stability in today's heavy rain was outstanding. Having 10/32 of rubber between the vehicle and the road results in a very noticable difference as compared to 5/32.

I probably could have gotten another 5 to 10k miles on the old tires but the buy 3 get one free and the coming of winter made me spend a few $$$.Ouch!!

I drove a 2008 G35X loaner for 150 miles yesterday that had Goodyear tires on 17" wheels. There is a substantial noticable difference in superior performance with 18" wheels

What I've discovered during these first 100k miles is not everything that is written in the owners manual should be taken as absolute fact.

Rotating the tires every 6k miles instead of the 7500 miles as called for in the owners manual definitely extends the life of the tires.

Although the owners manual recomends premium gasoline I've tried it with no improvements so regular has been fine along with dino api SM 5w-30 oil.

Heres to the next 100k miles

Buckle your seatbelt boy!

Congrats on the 100k miles. I only have 50k on my '95 Camaro. Never put more miles than that on a vehicle.

Congrats on 100k miles. Put your seat belt on!

I don't understand why you're not using premium, Telcoman.

I ran my 05 G sedan on 87 when premium could not be bought and it ran fine. No spark knocking.

And, in my opinion, you can run lower grade in a manual.

I had an auto pathy and manual pathy. Auto would spark knock on anything other than prem. The manual was fine on 87. Has alot to do with the shift points.....imho

Nice congrats Telco.

for the next trouble free 100k.

I need new tires too. I have 17k on mine. I shouldn't let my wife drive it. LOL

I've been looking around to get new boots before the white stuff shows up.

shift points, gearing, drivetrain power loss, etc. Manuals are a little better with lower grade gas. And the sedans ecm has parameters to deal with 87. 100k Rev it up Howard!

Its been over 4k RPM a few times

It may have touched 5 a couple of times.

80 MPH is exactly 3k RPM in 6th gear
