Just in case if there are people still wondering whats the 0-60 time on a 2.5L Automatic, the car got a K&N Intake and everything else running on stock. The video consist of two separate runs with Auto CVT. Enjoy! :dblthumb:

P.S just notice i have a box of bottled water in the trunk while recording the 0-60. i suppose this 0-60 time is "a little" off considering my JLw7 also in the same trunk lol :naughty:

lol, nothing quite like a 6spd. I love it. as far as a dragstrip i got a 16.1 consistantly with reaction times all over the place. I'd like to see what a CVT (2.5) would do

i still don't get why people take vids of their speedometer doing a 0-60... not hating, or talking s***. it's like, who really cares how long it takes to get to 60mph? it's obviously gonna be a few seconds... most people care about 1/4 mile times. no one says "hey what's ur 0-60?" it's more of "hey what was your 1/4 mile time?"

just my .02

True. but there are people out there still wondering what the 0-60 time on the 2.5L .. perhaps this vid gives the new 2.4l coupe buyer some idea.

lol slow motion is because the car is slow. Slower than my moms e550 .. slower than my cousins g35.. and no i did not put my foot ALL the way down.

Eh...I actually see a lot of 0-60 runs for many many many cars on youtube. It's easier to show 0-60 than to have someone with you competent enough to hold a camera and zoom in to get the 1/4 mile time. For some reason my video has no sound on youtube yet it does on my laptop..strange. I've only seen 1 other manual altima 0-60 run and his kinda sucks lol Also showing a 0-60 clearly displays it's performance because in actuality when are we ever going over 60 unless we are on the highway? Merging onto the highway you can expect the 2nd gear pull from the dig to be about the performance one would have available to merging...if you were at 40 and put the pedal down (40 roll for any street racers lol). Trust me if i could get to the track and post a picture of my slip i would. I never have time due to my job and school though..so makin some youtube vids is all i got for now haha

I do think a 1/4 time is a more accurate result To show the true acceleration , hp, tq Ect. performance of your car. 0-60 are for ppl like me who don't have the opportunity or the face to go to the strip and get that slow 1/4 time. For me it also consist the fact I have a slow car . :inout:

Well i sure as hell dont mind. I'll tell everyone my car is bone stock, just trying to match or beat posted/magazine stock times. Comes down to a driver race more so than the car, which I am interested in because this 2.5 is slow, although completely competent for its true business.

I will not say that 0-60 shows better performance for any car than a 1/4 mile time slip. I am not that ignorant or dumb lol I'm just saying for us who cant get to the track this all we got to show for now! I will try to make it someday. I feel very confident in my driving to get a pretty good 1/4 mile time..but pics talk and words walk...ill get somethin on here someday lol hopefully at least 15.8.

who cares if your not the fastest car out there. I don't, I am the slowest car at the dragstrip i go to. But i still have a blast and make some new friends. It isn't always the fastest car that wins in bracket racing, I'ts the better driver. my times are fairly good but my reaction is sh*t and all over the place. If i was able to tree the light i would be in the 15's. I like to drive fast but don't regret my 4 banger at all. be proud of what u got man :mike

I love my altima coupe. reason i got it over the 370Z when making the purchase is because i at the time i've never seen a Altima coupe before.. I was test driving the Z and all sudden i notice a red sexy coupe parked in the show room.. and i turned around to the guy trying to sell me the z and said.. "i want that car!" but u see.. because i want the red one thats parked in the show room.. they dont have the 3.5 model offered in red on that day. instead of waiting a week or so. i went ahead and got this 2.5L. now my friends are giving me s*** because i drive the slowest car. even my mom laugh at me in the beginning. oh well.. not saying people drive slower car shoulnt have fun.. i have fun no doubt. but just my personal opinion as to why im not too hype about taking it to the strip.
