thanks for all the compliments.
i have wanted an s13 for about 3 years now, (even before i got my eclipse, just settled for it because i needed a car and it was a good price)
the paint isn't perfect, you just cant' see the blemishes in those pics, the car had been keyed and the previous owner put touch-up paint that didn't quite match over the scratches to keep the car from rusting. the only thing on it that doesn't work is the power antenna, but i don't listen to the radio much anyway so it's no biggie.
i originally wanted a coupe, then i wanted the fastback, but when i saw this car it was love at first site, i had practicaly had it bought in my mind before i even drove it or looked under the hood.
as for mods, the only thing i have planned at the moment is getting a new cat (or a test pipe) because mine is getting clogged, and then replace the front speakers (the ones in it are blown) i am also planning on putting a computer in it for mp3, navigation, and if i can find the OBD-II cable that goes to the ECU to a computer, i may have it monitoring that stuff just for kicks.
when the dust settles from my wreck (just happend last monday) and i find out how much money i am going to receive, i may start off with a few more mods, eventually i want to do an engine swap, but the motor that is it it runs so good now, i can't really justify it untill the KA starts to be more trouble than it is worth. plus i am still learning the characteristics of a rear wheel drive vehicle as opposed to a front wheel drive vehicle, so i dont' want to get more power than i can handle.
i am still not sure what all i want to do cosmeticly other than getting those scratches fixed up and color matched and stuff, i probably won't get a body kit, and i may or may not do a silvia front end conversion.
as far as suspension goes, i would like to get the tien flex coil overs, and for wheels and tires i am prolly going to go with 16x7 rota sub-zeros in the gunmetal finish.
anyway, thanks for the welcome and the compliments, and maybe i will see some of you at the 240sx convetion in vegas this summer if i get to go.
