When I turn the key to off, it will not turn off. I have to stall the truck to get it to stop the engine. I then have to go disconnect the battery cable if I don't want it to die. This is getting old.

I have check ed the ignition switch, works fine, cleaned the contacts. now I know how to hotwire my car, or any other old nissan. I checked the switches, grounds, coils, you name. I couldn't figure it out so I finally broke down and went to a mechanic. I spent three hours with him, he couldn't figure it out, then finally he pulls the EGI Relay! Viola, it works, I'm not sure why, and not happy with that being the solution. I want to fix this correctly, anybody have any ideas?

He pulled the relay and it solved your problem? If that's the case then the primary circuit is staying hot, check the ground on that circuit (on a Bosch 5 pt. relay it would be points 85 and 86)
