I know what i'm doing, but i don't claim to be a expert. So I ask the CA gurus to give me your imput on my setup. My goal is to dyno 300whp on 14-16psi, do you thing i'm missing anything or suggest any other items b4 i put it back togther and go to a dyno tune?I want it to be a good cross country motor. I do plan to drive it cross country, and for small time attact and autox events. So reliability is important to me more then maxing out power.

550cc will be totally necessary for 300whp. Youll be running them relatively hard but its nothing they cant handle. I think youve got all of your bases covered EXCEPT you are tuning with an safc. Unless you properly chip your ecu youll be in for a tough time getting tuned right.

you don't know what a tube manifold is? it's made with stainless steal equil length pipes. if you read what i wrote 300whp isn't stock stock injectors max out at ruffly 14psi running 100% dutty sycle. yea i got that lil throttle reduction pully off ebay, i figgerd i'ed try it, i dont like the slopy feel of the peddles figger it might help.

What would you recomend, from all i have looked most of the emprom chips are set up for Z32 mafs and 444cc injectors. Will that still work for me? Prob use the SAFC to make the corrections to that style Eprom?

I would want to have the ecu tuned for the MAF, injectors, turbo, etc. Have the fuel and ignition maps revised, and put it on a dyno and keep burning chips until its in top shape. Then you can use the safc for small adjustments. Its pretty terrible for anything other than that. Consider it a tuning band-aid. I ran my car with a more or less stock ecu and all the upgrades you mentioned. I tuned it with a safcII and it never ran right. I would have to do dumb things like re-tune the car on colder days, when it was humid, etc. Not worth it.

i don't think a gt28rs is gonna give you 300whp running 14-16 psi of boost. if i remember correctly i believe boost boy put down 300whp at 15psi but that was a t3/t04e and i THINK he might have had cams. he has a post with a dyno sheet somewhere here in the forums. search or ask boost boy i guess. as for the rest of your setup. save yourself some money and don't worry about an equal length tubular mani. it really isn't worth it for your setup. besides, they're high maint.
