my engine runs like crap

i just rebuilt my motor and put it in, but it wont run unless i dump some fuel in the intake manifold and after that it will start and then die, i pulled the fuel rail and the injectors werent firing but i found it was the black/red wire wasnt hooked up, so now there firing but it still will only start when i put fuel into the intake, wtf i cant figure this out

also when i do get it started by pouring fuel into the intake i put the piping back on and itll run and drive but when i rev the engine it sputters, white smoke out of exhaust and wont rev over about 2700rpms

get it to run, then unplug your MAF. try that out and see what happens

i tried that and nothing changed, it sat for about 2 years before i rebuilt it

could be bad gas since the car was sitting have u checked the gas in the tank

yea i drained it and replaced it, im thinkin its electrical, i had the car stripped down to just the shell and my dogs chewed up the wiring harness, so i ripped it all out, all i got is the ecu and engine harness, i got a fuse box from autozone and some relays, i wired the ignition switch to a relay that gives power to the fuse box, i got the black/red, blue/red, red, black/white, and red/black wires hooked to the fuse box, then i got another wire from the fuse box going to the fuel pump relay to power it and the black/yellow and the black pink and a wire running to the fuel pump, the light on the ecu turns on and the fuel pump pumps and i got spark, itll run when i pour fuel into the intake but im thinkin somethin with the air/fuel mixture its like its not gettin enough fuel

so i got it runnin and unplugged the maf sensor and it stalled out, so im guessin the maf is good, i was lookin at the air idle control and theres 4 wires goin to it, two to one solinoid and 2 to another, theres one blue/red wire thats not doin anything, it goes from one of the solinoids for the air idle control and i traced it to the fuse box and its not conected to anything, is it a ground wire or power?

well i just got it, there was a fat red wire goin to pin 109 and 46 and to the injectors, i had the wrong red wire hooked up there was a smaller one i had hooked up
