my engine keeps dieing?

if u guys can help me out...id appriciete it...my 92 240sx sometimes dies wenever i drive it..like it seems like it would be choking or something..wenever i slow down to a stop or put it in nutruel and let the ARPM drop..any ideas y?..

most likely its your coolant temp sensor.

just adjust your throttle my buddy had that exact same problem on his 1991 s13 and he adjusted that and now it purrs

hey buddy i would suggest cleaning the throttle body really good with some carb cleaner and put a new set of plugs and plug wires.If it has a unstable idle after it warms up then that would be your problem,trust me i spent about 400 dollars on new sensers and it was only a stopped up throttle body........good luck

would that solve my probelm..cuz wenever i wake up to start it in cold weather..it idles like around 1200 rpm..which is weridl...but after starting and driving it for a about half a mile and stop..it idles at 800 rpm....at normal idle..any ideas?
