my engine is sqeaking!

i have a 93' 240sx

well this just happened as i was driving home, and it didnt stop. my engine starts sqeaking when i hit 2500rpm, it sqeaks pretty load too. it sqeaks on every gear if i go over 2500rpm. anyone have any idea on what it is?

hmm, i know this may sound stupid, but check your belts, try some belt dressing. What type of sqeak is it? metal to metal or?

I hear waterpumps make pretty unhealthy sounds when they are failing.

well, it was the belt.. i got it tightened and now its all good, but my fan clutch is also getting bad, so i'll need to get that replaced =(
