hicas, is 4 wheel steering, and the timing chain guides probably need to be taken off. very easy, and a million posts on it

If the first word that came to your mind for this noise is "knock", it may not be your chain. That noise is almost always better described as a rattle. Could you try to find the exact location of the noise and maybe describe it a bit more?
