my electric went hawire

all started a week ago when i started my car and my wipers came on but the switch was off, and noticed my radio had no power, my door ajar light was dim(no doors were open), my clock was reset to 1:00, my dome light didnt work, my atomatic seat belts only work when the car is on, and when i open my door my clock dissapears. so it had rain that day and i figured that was the cause. so the next day i started my car and everything was fine. a couple days later(no rain) it happened again(all the above), but all started woking again when i left school. last night while driving everything went off again. today nothing has worked at all. checked fuses they are fine. what else can i do to figure this out? anyone had this happen to them?

i do not have power locks or windows. headlights, tail lights, ect all work fineits a 1992 hatchback

check the battery terminals for crap and if the - terminal is eaten through.

sounds like you have a grounding problem somewhere

I seem to remember reading about a problem similar to this a year or two ago on this message board. The windshield wipers is what triggered it. Search for every keyword combination you can think of for the wipers coming on when you start the car. Then again I could just be remembering something I never read
