i wanted to get a baseline dyno for my car before adding my upgrades. i've been putting the upgrades off for awhile because of school and finances.

current mods (power related anyway) are ECU reflashed to run 11psi, HKS pod filter, and 3" catback exhaust. max power was 162whp and 170wtq.

what i have waiting to go in is an HKS GT2530 turbo, Spearco 24X7.5X3.5 intercooler, DSM injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, Q45 MAFS, and S-AFC 2.

You really gotta open up that turbo-back part of your exhaust. You should make alot more power that way.

I concure, I would seriously plan on an O2 housing, downpipe, and highflow cat/test pipe. Your torque drop off will be considerably less after it peaks.

do you guys recommend that the downpipe and cat be custom, or should i buy a pre-fabbed setup? i want it to fit well, and i'll need another bung for wideband too anyway, but at the same time it may be more expensive that way.

any recommendations on a good turbo-back exhaust or even just the downpipe? i prefer the nismo style mufflers as opposed to the canisters.

I personally don't think there is THAT much difference between all of them. Get what you like/want. I would recommend something pre-fabbed though.

kinda unrelated i have the same setup but 10psi and oldschool safc.

but i purchased an sr downpipe and sr elbow, and it was totaly 100% off and would not line up, this is using ka engine mounts.

the ca turbo is closer when bolted up then the sr one. stock t25 bla bla, test pipe gp sports specd.

BTW, Mike, if you decide to dyno it again, they should be able to pull a tach signal from the loop at the back of the head that goes to the coil packs. That is exactly what that is there for.
