New and improved with the (probable) loss of the 98 Max. It's true, most accidents happen 3 miles from home, this one less than a mile, around dawn (dawn & dusk are the worst too, AFAIK.)

Yup, first time I can remember, Mom (70 yo) had an accident.

I bought it new for her after my Dad passed on my birthday 4/24/98.

It just keeps getting better & better. :pface

Will probably part out:98 Maxima SE, 40k miles, Bose, tan leather, sunroof, 16" alloys, interior still untouched, drivetrain awesome, doors still good.

After CrashGordon's horrific accident, now Mom's, I'm more assured of Nissan/Infiniti's crashworthiness than ever before.

If she had been in an Accord, I know it would have been another story.

She's already talking about a Camry, to which I said:

"You know I'm gonna whup your a$$ if you buy something before I can get up there."

Time for a G35 sedan?

Hope your mom is OK Heavy D. Yea, tell her to get a G35. I have one as a loner today. It drives nice. I'll give a better review after I get my Q back. Got to take this puppy out on the highway before I return it.
