MY DRIVER SIDE POWER SEAT WENT OUT!!

My driver side power seat went out. It was working about half the time a couple of days ago.. But today it just stopped working all toghether.. Any Ideas how to fix it.. If I move the seat by the buttons it will still move but it wont move on its own and the memory settings wont work either..

Any help is appreciated.. Brittany

Try disconnecting the battery overnight?Try resetting your memory presets?

Do a search for a reset procedure.

Are we talking a Q45 here? What do you mean it won't move on it's own? Do you mean the auto positioner which pushes the seat back and forward for easy entry? If so, there is a button on the ignition housing that turns that on and off.

Never heard of a Q's power seat going bad before assuming this is a Q.

Yea. Thats Exactly What I'm Talking About. When Is Was Working Half The Time It Seemed Like It Was Shorting out. Like It Would Only Move Back Half The Distance It Was Suppose To Go. I Dunno I Dont Know Very Muuch About Cars.

The Only Buttons I have On My Ignition Housing is the one i have to push to take out my key.. And the steering whell ajuster..

On the left, below the adjustment joystick, is a cancel button. But in this case, I dont think thats the issue.
