Memphis had really bad storms and tornados yesterday. Of course, it always has to hit at 5. I was driving through water so deep that I kept feeling the bottom of my door to make sure none was coming in. My brother called me and let me know that I was heading right into the worst part, so I ducked into my Mom's till it slowed down.

When I got closer to home (rural area) water was rushing over the road and it was so deep I couldn't even see the stripe. Once I pulled over and waited for another car to go through before I would try.

Needless to say, the second I got home I grabbed me a BEER! Crazy azz weather. Usually this time of year here it is hot and dry.

Had some pretty deep water on the roads here as well around 6pm.

And I just realized I don't have any beer at home currently, that ain't right.

That can be remedied.

Stop mentioning beer, I'm at work for exactly another 4.5 hours.

Suck about the H20... How did the G like all the water? Did you check the intake for moisture? I would build an ark like Noah, so all the G's have a warm and dry place to stay.

Yeah the weather is upside down and inside out this year. Global warning ha.

It is usually around high 80's low 90's here this time of the year, now we don't even hit the 80. Rain almost every second day if not more. I feel like I am in British Columbia. I have not used the central A/C in my house this summer.

3 weeks ago I gave up cleaning my car. I cleaned it every week and the next day rain. It happened 4 weeks in the row. ARGH.

Glad you got home in 1pc.

Thanks guys. G handled great...no problems. I didn't check anything because it is running fine. Wouldn't something like that trip a check engine light?

There are sometimes you are glad your car is heavy

In my case it has been the opposite. On my days off it always seems to get too hot for me to wax my car. Wish I had a better place for that. It got to 102 - 110 on Wednesday. Right now it is in the 60s about 10 degrees cooler than the night time low for Wednesday.
