I have not posted in a while. I just wanted to post a deal that came along that I can not get. I am so depresseded it just came along at the wrong time(just had a kid). Well here it is, I have a plan to convert my 32 GTST to GTR power, then the news of a baby. Just slows down the progress (I thought). Well 9 months later still no progress but a deal came along. It is a whole GTSt already converted to GTR power but can no longer be registered here (was going to be shipped to the states so it is deregistered, Motorx backed out at the last minute) So the deal is a bolt in converted to RWD rb26 with N1 turbos, twin plate clutch, some other small mods, and a extra R32 with stereo system, defi gages, profec B, and some other stuff all for 4500. The part that is killing me is I cant do anything about it. I can't jump on the deal. we just had the baby and I just bought the wife her Cedric. Sorry to post this in here but have to talk some where and it is about RB's. I wish I had the money to fill and ship containers, I would be able to buy what ever I wanted then. well there is the deal I have been waiting for and have to let it slip by, some times its nice to be in Japan and some times its not. So for now the dream machine will have to wait and there is still no future replacment for the 25 in my 240.

why cant the car be registered here in japan...and where are you located in japan. I am not to far from tokyo, so maybe we could hook up sometime. I am looking to do a 26 swap into my laurel in a year or so. hit me up at my e-mail addy.

I am sorry for the delay in my reply been kind not interested in car **** lately and forgot about my post. Anyway for cyris3d I can be reached at [email protected]

The reason car can not be registered is the car was deregister from Japan to be shipped to Motor x but they told the kid 3 days before the car was supposed to ship they can not do it anymore. Also the 26 is illegal with out having it inspected and the title changed to state the motor change. Its not the cheapest thing to do and if I got it my 32 is in nicer conditon anyway so everthign would go in mine and I have 2 years JCI so no worries.

Oh and I wish I was in mainland I am in Okinawa.

And new news on the 26 is its not a dead issue yet. I have decided to make a lower offer and if he takes it I may get it. Then I will have to change my email to GTS-R @ whatever HEHEHEH..............

well I have the key to the 26 just have to see what happens the next day or two. I drove the doner Gtst R32 with the 26 in it. All I have to say is if you read this (yes you) never I mean never try to compair the 25 or 20 to the 26 again. I can tell you from having a 25 in my 240n and a r32 with the 20 they do not compair to the 26. this is not which is better thread its my opinion from expieriance. I cant wait to get the last answer and swap the 26 in my 32. Then let the tuning and building commense so I can put this baby in my 240 when I return. Of course I will post pics and any info I find of the transplant and tuning phases. It looks as though I wont have to take the anti depression meds after all. I should know for sure in a day or two.

Thanks guys.

Rbsileighty: where are you going to be when you come here?

The 20 to 26 swap will start in the morning. the motor is not pretty (sat in the oki weather under a vented hood for almost a year) but runs like a bat out of hell. should be done in a couple days. I only get 7 hours a day at our hobby shop on base but like I said it is already converted in another 32 so its a strip down of one and put it all in mine. The only bad part i see is its done using the 20 transmission. So I will try to keep mine for a back up. I may have some stuff for rb for sale section, have to see what is left when done.

So the list for removal and install on my car this weekend is.

Rb26 with Ogura clutch and N1 turbos (we will seeif they are N1's), some defi gages, HKS EVC, GTR bumper, 33 GTR intercooler I get 6 rims (for drift) 4 Type m and 2 star style with some lip, and its all ready to go straight in, no wiring of fitment hassles.

Left over in the 32 shell and from my car (which will be removed and sold) Rb20 and transmission, my bumper, rb20 harness, rear diff and axles, two gage clusters some Mafs, rb20 blitz BOV and pipe, complete 32 interior, the rest of the 32 shell will unfortunatly be junked and maybe some other stuff. So with all I got and what I have to sell it cost me 3500 for it all.

Sorry this is so long but I am so happy I dont know if I can sleep tonight knowing I will have the motor I have always wanted. Anyway I will post pics and any info in another post for the install. Oh and before I get how much for something or anything like that Only small things can be shipped(cost to much) Thanks if you have read all this trash and not flmed me.

No one said the 20 was no good. As a matter of fact I think there may be more 20 guys on here than anything. I just was not happy with it, and now after owning all 3 the 26 is what I will stay with. Only problem I have with the 26 is when I hit full boost in second its kinda hard to keep straight and thats on the low boost setting.

*doesn't see how this is a problem*

how do the power bands feel in relation to each other? was always curious about that... is the 26 more responsive?
