my door thingie fell inside........

well one day i just popped open the fuel door to filler up, and then when it tried to close it, it wouldnt! the fuel latch ii guess disappeared and now my fuel door is hanging open. any remedy to this annoying problem? thanks

You will probably have to take the interior panels off that side of the trunk to see what is going on. It is kind of hard to get to it even with the panel out cause there is some sheetmetal in the way, you have to go by feel sometimes. On a seperate note, does your trunk still open from the inside?

Velcro makes wonders..... just kidding. Try to see if the locking mechanism is stuck due to grime, spray with lub, clean and last option is to take the inside panel off and inspect from inside....

use could use a small magnet as a quick fix.

i think those are things that hapen to all 240s loli had 2 240s both with that damn problem well i didnt fix any u can check your cable to see if it works by removing it if u see the problem and the cable is busted just get another i never fixed mine because i didnt care

what i did was open the latch from inside the trunk and i just took the release cable off so everytime i fill gas i open my trunk to get to the latch

ghetto isnt it but its a 240
