Nice!

I always get a kick out of seeing the old 4-door 510's

Btw: bitmap(bmp) images won't show up in the thread, jpeg(jpg) will though.

Sweet dime nismo... I looked all over for a 4-door when I was ready to buy my car. Couldnt find any in decent condition tho, so I settled for a 2-DOOR. How are you liking the KA? Im about a few months away from getting mine installed and cant wait. Did you keep any of the original datsun wiring at all? I plan to remove it all and re-wire the whole car. If I am up for the task anyways haha.

I liked my KA runs pretty strong but now want to see if it runs harder with a turbo. In regards to the wiring yes I used my original wiring. I actually had it wired up by this guy named Phil use to have a shop in Gardena but I heard he moved to Sacramento. Real good guy. I actually prefer the 4 door over the 2 door. I always had 4 doors. Good luck with your set up.

aww going KA-T that should be fun.. did you upgrade any of the internals before you decided to turbo? Im trying to decide what to do as far as cams and possibly ITB's since its becoming so poular there are a lot of writeups making it a bit easier to do myself. So yea whats your setup now since the car is still NA?

the 4 door models used a solid axle rear end though didn't they?

not that a solid can't made to handle like a sonofabitch though.

have any more pics?

no, all 510 sedans came out with IRS.although, some people claim that the mexican market 510 sedans had a solid axle.....but I have never seen pics of a sedan with a standard solid axle.510 Wagons also had solid axle

Try the painless wiring kit, they make good wiring kits for whole car's they start you off with a new fuseblock and you go from their. if your doing the "whole" car that is.

I have a 510 Wagan and I used to own a 510 4-door. The 4-door had IRS and the Wagon has a solid rear axle. The IRS allows you to swap in an R200 LSD but with a solid rear axle I don't know what to do. Also I want to have discs in the rear but want to keep the bolt pattern. Solid rears are teh lose.

in the last couple years of produstion they made some luxury version with leather and automatic and a solid rear axle, I seem to recall that it had something to do with the auto or the luxo package coming with the solid rear axle
