So I'm in the mood to whore my s***, so here's the car I drive to work every day, race on weekends, and empty my bank account to keep going on a day to day basis.

I like the way it looks right now. Needs a bit of paint work, but having it back on the road again reminds me of how much I used to like the car back when I first bought it. It was off the road for so long because I was busy doing this.

Image

2 years and 2 motors to get that result, the first one I bought was junk, so I spent a lot of money to make sure that one would be perfect.

Silverado 2500 HD 6.0L Block
Shaved and ported 799 Heads
TSP MS3 112LSA Cam
Stock Intake and Corvette Manifolds for now

This was the exhaust I made in my back yard to go with it... the rest of it is old N1 Dual knock offs from ebay that I used to have.

Well what else is going on here... engine and trans mounts I fabricated myself, took a silverado truck harness and made it work on my car, many many man hours involved with that one, used Camaro accessories, no power steering or AC, T56 6 speed manual transmission with McLeod Twin Disc clutch and blowproof bellhousing, Shaftmasters custom driveshaft, full multilink rear end, tein coilovers, VLSD that's f***, some other 240 ricer mods I'm sure.

But yeah that's what I drive to work every day. Hope you guys enjoy it. Here's a vid of me racing a neon that went 12 flat at 115.

Ricer math says the car is putting down 400HP approx at the wheels. Needs longtubes and a proper intake real bad.

That's not necessarily true.

You can have terrible taste and nice parts and still end up with an ugly car.

Likewise you can have great taste and lesser parts and still have a nice looking car.

The taillights are just ebay things. I think they look nice. The turn signals are useless in the daytime though.

I can do a build thread if there's any real interest, I just feel when you look at a Nissan build thread, after 4 or 5 years, they're all the same with a slightly different end result. Mine was not a complicated swap, and it's very well documented.

Car is actually a huge turd. I chose all of the pics that would hide it :P It would be nice if I spent money on the body, but then I wouldn't want to drive it after that!

Also I cheaped out on a ton of parts. You just have to know what you want your car to do, and what parts you can cheap out on to do so.

I figured as much. Do you intend on tinting them? Probably not, just read ahead the turn signals are worthless :gapteeth:.

Made it out to the local track.

It was my first time ever on a dragstrip, and I'm pretty happy with it. Car was on 205 tires stretched onto the skyline wheels, VLSD, a little over half a tank of gas, battery up front and a bunch of crap in the back. Car was as it is found on the street, 91 octane fuel.

The trap speed is definitely there for a mid/high 11 second pass. Unfortunately my rear end has started to howl, and I don't own the wheels/tires to 60 foot harder, and I do need a bit of a driver mod.
