Just bent and welded up a 2.5" factory header back exhaust system with X-pipe and dual strait through mufflers for my Q45. I found it very convenient that the factory supplies a 2.5" header flange stock!
I'm planning on running some more mufflers up front to quiet it down more.
it breaths better at 5.5 to 8k rpms. but not-surprisingly less torque down low. I want to see what it does at the dyno. maybe I'll re-convert back to e-85 before then. Eh, I'll just see what happens compared to the cat-back setup. I'm trying for 300hp to the wheels with this exhaust, a jwt intake filter, and tuning with 91 octane. I was at 280hp with the old system and still had room to play with. we'll see.....

the pictures were not the best, and i took them before i was done welding. I also made a less than ideal hanger on the left muffler, looks worse from the bottom. I also left my pre-fabbed rear dual out, to keep the sleeper look. I just use what I have lying around when I don't have money. lol.
