well the previous owner claims that it threw a rod, would that mean the head is even ****ed up? or probably just the block? he said it may have put a hole in the block.. but i popped off the valve cover today.. and everything seemed in tact..

does it run?

are there gigantic oil spots on the ground under the car?

a hole in the block would be on the lower part of the engine, and isnt something you can miss during an inspection of the engines condition.

look at the block itself, near the bottom where the crank would be. thats where a hole would happen if it threw a rod, and it would run like complete ****, if at all, if that were the case.
