I know it has been covered here but I thought I would share my install with you guys.

Some people were wondering where to put the crossover, i put it inside the door. I removed one of the white plastic brackets inside the door to make room. I also used the factory speaker, tore it out and used the spacer to screw my mids into. I put the tweeters inside the door on the mid grill, I will get some pics of them soon.

Wow. I didn't think to do it like that.
I had to stash my massive crossovers in the dash

There is plenty of room back there once you dig into it. Even to the left and right of the center console has loads of extra room, just a pain to get to.

What else do you have in this system?

you should get some custom enclosures for those woofers... that is unless you don't really need trunk space. seems like you lost half your trunk space.

Ya, I don't have much trunk space at all... But this box is pretty small considering. I just have to deal with it.

I really like where I put them, are you talking about in the upper dash where the 3" speakers are? Well why take those out? Then I have 2 more speakers. :bigthumb:

Only problem with the tweeters down on the kickplate is that treble is line of sight audible. If you cant see the speaker, you arent hearing its full potential. Believe it or not, things like your own or passenger's legs will muffle it up real nice. Even the factory mids mounting location is a little low if you ask me.

As for sub enclosures, check my review on the Zenclosure here:

zenclosure-subwoofer-enclosure-t480067. ... Zenclosure

This thing is simple enough you can build your own. At the time I didnt have the tools or space to do so (not much woodworking skill either, got that from my amp rack), but if you have half a brain you can do it.

I put my tweeters in front of the door handles. Seems to have enhanced sound quality 10x.
