Hi Guys, been quite some time since I post here. Recently I've just installed BC Sports coilover for my Tiida. Previously on Tanabe NF210. This is height and damping adjustable. Spring weight is 8kg front and 6kg rear. Handling/Cornering greatly improve over the Tanabe although you must get use to the hardness of it. Here are some pics....

You can adjust the damping by turing the knob on the top

Compared with old shocks with Tanabe Springs

Coilovers improve the handling vastly, but now i can feel every bump in the road. After a heavy meal its not a good ride at all.

BC Sports is some Taiwanese brand but popular here in Asia as it is price lower than branded ones like Cusco, Tein, etc. Refer to the URL I've given above. Will post some pics of the car when I take some tom. Basically I've lowered till 2 fingers spacing between wheel and fender for front and back. Although this is not as comfy as lowering springs, it improves handling vastly.

If you don't get the car corner-weighted after you lower the car (which has nothing to do with a two finger measurement) you are asking for more trouble than you can imagine...more trouble than not getting it aligned, and that is also a very important step!!!

thanx for the advice. I've got my car aligned. As for corner-weighted, I don't know what does that mean.

Is there enough stock adjustment to get the alignment back to stock? Since there is no known aftermarket camber adjustments.

Corner weighting is not that important. Only if you are really serious about racing the car.

cool stuff, i live around buffalo NY so adjustable suspension will prolly never be on my plate(it'll rust in the same spot in about 10 days lol) let us know how you make out on getting everything setup, then let us know how they handle

the black bottom thing is called a front diffuser. As for setting this thing up, we dun actually DIY. Just let the workshop handle everything from installation to alignment

Wow.. great to see that BC finally has a set of coilovers for the Tiidia platform. You will really enjoy them. My 350z is sponsored by BC, and I love the setup that I have from them.

I've been talking to the BC Racing US rep, about using my versa as the testbed to certify the Tiida coilover setup will work on the US based Versa's. Currently, unless you take a risk and order them from TW yourself, there is no US distribution for these coilovers.

I'll keep you guys in the loop
