...I have to be nice for a whole week to everyone at work. Not just customers, but the staff.
Not that I was rude to customers, but I apparently have a few bad habits. One is chasing and yelling after idiot drivers who:
a.) drive over and between our carefully set-up cones
b.) drive too fast through gates while working on them
c.) ask me questions like "when will this be done" or "can you hurry this up"

As far as my co-workers, I try to be cool, but the fact is I really don't see a need to get chummy with the people I work with. Most of the time, I have other sh*t on my mind. It would be nice if they wouldn't take it personally. I don't live near any of them so it's kind of a moot point.

Anyway, i just thought I'd share.

You should shove your co-worker in a trash can and yell at him.

it's ok. lots of us too have to deal with idiotic customers and somewhat annoying co-workers. what i do now is every chance i get to mess with them i.e. ignore them without getting in trouble with managers, i take that chance and revel in it.

I hear you on this one. Me not constantly chatting with you about s*** does NOT mean I'm being "mean." It means I'm able to exist for more than 30 seconds without running my mouth.

It could be worse, people could mistake you for nice. I get that all the time.
What they don't know is, I am so scared of losing it and chokin a b**** because the average person is enragingly stupid that I overcompensate to insane levels.
If they knew what goes through my mind they would steer very clear of me lest the orgy of crossbody bitchslaps ensue.
