dave, i think you just need to lighten up. but a white shirt, or eight. leave your home problems at home and your work problems at work. chasing and yelling at drivers? i didn't realize you were part terrier. but really, dude, learn to chill the f*** out. you need people skills, yo.Dattebayo wrote:...I have to be nice for a whole week to everyone at work. Not that I was rude to customers, but I apparently have a few bad habits. One is chasing and yelling after idiot drivers who:
a.) drive over and between our carefully set-up cones
b.) drive too fast through gates while working on them
c.) ask me questions like "when will this be done" or "can you hurry this up"
As far as my co-workers, I try to be cool, but the fact is I really don't see a need to get chummy with the people I work with. Most of the time, I have other sh*t on my mind. It would be nice if they wouldn't take it personally. I don't live near any of them so it's kind of a moot point.
Anyway, i just thought I'd share.
I am with you brother. I am tired of my boss and him bringing his problems with his 6 kids to work, i am tired of my uppity costumers bitching that their car is more important than the car i am working on that came into the shop 2 days earlier.I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.Dattebayo wrote:Depends on what you got there sonny boy.Dittoz7 wrote:Is it true if you don't use it, you lose it.
I lost my patience a long time ago.
I hear you on this one. Me not constantly chatting with you about s*** does NOT mean I'm being "mean." It means I'm able to exist for more than 30 seconds without running my mouth.Dattebayo wrote:As far as my co-workers, I try to be cool, but the fact is I really don't see a need to get chummy with the people I work with.
