Fairly certain its a battery problem. Left your lights on? Enough power to power the radio and light but not enough to turn the car over, battery is your best bet
First, make sure you are hooking up the jumper cables the right way, reds to both the positive terminals of the battery and blacks to both the negative terminals. You would be surprised how many people dont get a good connection with the jumper cables and then the car continues not to start. Also, have the other car rev up the engine up 2500 rpms or so to provide enough voltage to power your car through the cables.
Second, stick the key fob in that slot to the lower left of the steering wheel, when your battery dies the car looks for the anti theft signal, for the push button start, through this port.
Now try to start it. If none of this works, try disconnecting the battery for 5 min or so to reset the computer. Then retry steps above. Good luck.
