My car wont crank

Hi im new to this forum and I was wondering if someone can help me with my problem. I was driving my car when the car started making a clanking noise everytime I steped on the gas. Every time I got to a stop my car would turn off and it would take a while to start. the second time I tried the engine was wanting to start but it turned off and the car let of a white grayish smoke. Now it doesnt want to turn on at it only does a cliking noise. I bought a new starter and alternator but Im not sure what to do next

I would try to spin the crank and make sure the engine did not lock-up,then we can go from there

I tried that and its smooth in the first half then it gets stiff then smooth then stiff and so on and when i spin the crank i hear gargling noises inside the block cuz i took the top off and also there is a clank noise in every lap i do spinning the crank. I believe that was the noise i heard before my car turned off. Is my engine blocked?? Is that the reason it wont turn on??
