My car won't start!!! Help

I have a 91 240sx. when i turn the key to start the car nothing happens. The battery has a full charge and everything else powers up fine. when I turn the key one of the relays in the fuse box under the driverside kick plate clicks and engages but the engine doesnt turn over. The starter doesnt even click. any ideas?

if it is then check the clutch neutral bypass switch... i think thats what its called...

anyway its right under the clutch pedal. it could be that your clutch pedal has a hole thats supposed to be filled by a hard rubber plug that when you push the clutch down it presses the clutch switch down .... thus allowing the car to start...

if there is a hole and the rubber plug is missing... use a penny and some kind of tape like duct tape or electrical tape to secure the penny in the hole... then try starting the car...

also check to hear if your fuel pump is working just in case

No it's not a five speed. It's an automatic. But I think I might check the park/neutral saftey switch and see if i can bypass it and see if it starts then. Thanks for the info. If you have any other ideas please let me know. will keep you posted.

is there gas in it? I would also check the fuel pump and relay.

what kind of voltage is the battery putting out? just because it measures 12v does not mean with a load on it that it measures 12V.

I was expecting it to be the clutch microswitch as well...... but since it is auto this is not the issue.

If the fuel system isnt the issue I would check out the ignition.

anything happen prior to it not working????????
