Hm. looks like the jail term is 5 days, not 10. Must have misread it the first time, it's 10 days for a second offence within 5 years.

Unless you piss the judge off. Then its 6 months.

You'll be fine, man. Don't get too worried. Just tell them what you've told us, and they'll see that there's no reason to overdo the punishment.

Ouch! Yeah, you got pretty lucky so far though. Good luck with that.

Well, I got the car back today. No idea why they released it to me, but they did. So no 30 day impound for me... lets just hope this luck continues into the courtroom.

I'm hoping it goes smoothly for you -- in fact, I'm very certain that it will. And dont worry about spending a work week in prison. Unless you robbed, assaulted, murdered, evaded, resisted, or work for a local mob boss, you wont see a day in jail. Its crowded and theres no reason for the court to separate you from society.

We're all rooting for you.

And if you do end up in jail....whatever you do, don't drop the soap!

Don't worry though, you won't go to jail. If anything they'll probably extend your suspension.

Cali laws suck due to the population...etc. I got pulled over on the bay bridge.....http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php? ... +francisco

Anyways, every state is different, so just be aware to not do things that will have a harsh punishment...i.e Cali laws. It's nothing compared w/ cali to drive w/ a suspended license in iowa. I got pulled over w/ a suspended license and they just towed my car and elongated my suspension. So basically, u pay for the tow and storage..which isn't siht in iowa. I paid like 60-80 bux. I paid 250 here in cali.....still both are quite a lot, but just watch yourself and if you're doing anything illegal....i.e..driving under the influence, suspended license..etc., then follow all the rules. Not that i'm advacating this but most of us do things like this, so....
