my car cannot get the acceleration like the other 240's can...

ok..for example, when i am on the highway in 5th gear i stomp on

the gas, and my rpm's don't go up at all....or even when i drop it

from 5th to 4th it goes nowhere.........it just doesn't get the

acceleration it should........so let me know what is wrong with my

car.......thanks.... ps. i thought about getting my fuel injectors

cleaned out..would that help!?? thanks

well, number A, your car has a governor(sp?) at 115mph, so if your going anywhere near that speed, that little SOHC engine of yours is already straining, and then the governor kicks in. go get your compresion checked, then come back and talk.

Agreed. Go do a basic tuneup and check to make sure everything on the engine is up to par.
